Founder of the Association of Bureau Managment

I've been working with the payroll profession, primarily bureaus in the accountancy sector, for 20 years and it's fair to say that I've witnessed a lot of change in that time.

I have developed immense respect for the whole payroll industry and the dedication of professionals who care passionately about paying the 32 million people working in the UK. But I also have come to believe that the bureau sector faces challenges which are positively unique and substantially different to those handled by in-house payroll teams and that, therefore, they need an organisation dedicated to supporting their needs.

When are the webinars?

When do the Regional Roundtable meetings start and finish?

We normally aim to gather at the venue form 9:00 or 9:30 and start in earnest at 10:00. We aim to finish at 16:00 or 16:30 but sometimes the discussion carries on beyond that. You’re free to leave at any time.

Do I have to be a ‘Manager’ to join the association?

Absolutely not! Membership is open to directors, partners, assistant managers and senior payrollers – the association exists to help you run a better bureau, whatever your job title.
